This blog title is going to be the title for my first book….God’s Amazing Plans.
Why you ask.  Because I have learned that God’s plan for our lives is amazing.  We don’t always get to see the amazing plans unfold, but it isn’t God’s fault.
Most of us want to create our own plans and they are not always inline with what God has created us for or designed us to be.  We are taught as children and young adults to plan our futures by dreaming and designing a plan for our life without counsel and guidance from our most important source…God.
We chose our education, our spouses, when to have children, where to live, what career we should have and how we respond to all choices presented to us. Most people don’t even consider what God would want for them.  They respond and chose based on what “feels good” and “right” at the time.
Then when we become unhappy and discontented with our lives.  We blame God and question Him on what He is doing and why things are not happening the way we wanted… and expected.
Why do we counsel Him after the fact and not before we make choices?  This blog is intended to search for those answers and share experiences so we can understand God’s presence in our lives and how better to walk his path and not ours.
It seems so much like God’s work that after months of praying about writing a blog and years, 5 years to be exact, of being called to write a book that my husband and I would be honored in Washington DC and get to share our life story in the news.
It is no surprise to me that the title for my story that God gave me five years ago has not waivered after all those days, months and years later and that the first sentence of the article the reporter writes is…They call it God’s Plan.
I didn’t tell her what to write, she just wrote it.  You can’t write this story any better.  She may have left off the word amazing, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t important.  As you will see in blog #2, God writes it himself.
God is the author of my story and I know He will take credit for it.  Credit is due and I am happy to give all the glory to the creator of life and author of my story.
How about you?  Do you have a story that God needs credit for?
